Excellent guideline for success in multicultural environment

The book provides a clear description of contemporary comarativist theories of culture, and suggests how to applly them in practice. This is an excellent guideline for those who travel and works abroad, and also for those who interact with people from other cultures in her/his home environment. It helps to look from aside to one's own culture and , as much as possible' to takke in account and avoid biases often typical for unprepared ones who interact with other cultures.
On the other and, it must be taken in account that the authors represent quite similar, anglo-saxon based cultures, so the level of their cultural neutrality might be not excellent. It would be interesting to see in the future a similar book written by the team representing more different cultures.

Gain some perspective and awareness

Good book, quick read. It is a book that helps you gain perspective. Understand that culture is evolving, so buying a book that prescribes with a certain culture may do will quickly become out dated. The purpose of this book is exactly what I said, to help you gain perspective and awareness or rather increase your CIQ (Cultural IQ)
